Oakland Town Hall on Girls Women of Color

Breaking the Silence Town Hall Oakland creates the space for local decision makers to listen to the challenges and daily experiences of *girls and women of color in our community. By elevating their unique experiences and centering their leadership, we aim to creatively and collectively identify opportunities for intervention.

Join the African American Policy Forum, Impact Hub Oakland and members of the BTSTH_Oak Planning Committee on Saturday, February 27th, 2016, from 12-4pm for a powerful day of action and restoration as *girls and women of color speak across a range of issues including displacement, education, interpersonal and inter-communal violence, and criminalization.

*Girls and women of color is an inclusive term reflecting all those who were assigned and/or identify as female.

Thursday Forum Series

Faculty and graduate students are welcome to submit proposals to present at the CRG Thursday Forum Series. Proposals to present as an individual or a panel are invited each semester.
